BELGAVOX

Belgavox

Sunday afternoon [I know it, this post is late! :)] there was a (free!) concert in Brussels with a lot of Belgian bands. The concert was for more solidarity in Belgium because we live together with Flemish people who speak Dutch, like us and Walloon people who speak French. So those are 2 official languages (+ German).  Some people want to split Belgium in 2 parts, Flanders and Wallonia (we REALLY don’t want this ;)). But that’s why there was a concert, to show us that we can live together, that we have respect to each other, for more multi-cultural diversity in Belgium…

But there came good bands, so I went there with my cousins and a friend.

I want you to share 2 (new) artists who came also Sunday:
Jasper Erkens, a boy who is 16 years old! His CD came out a couple of weeks ago (love it!) and Selah Sue (19 years old), her full CD isn’t out yet, but you can hear some concerts from her on youtube. [Click at the names for their myspace]

Here is a video from the concert. [Selah Sue with Baloji]
I think I’m somewhere in front of the stage :’)
And I love the haircut of Selah Sue, it really fits her :D
