Hi there! Yesterday and today I worked with a friend of me, Marieke, in a hotel. We did housekeeping and it was very very exhausting, but now we’re really happy that we earned some money. Right on time, because the sales begin the 2th of January! :) When I was @ Marieke’s place, we used photobooth to take pictures, hope you enjoy watching our kind off weird pictures! (In case you don’t know how I look like, I’m the girl on the left, except on the first picture ;p) In brief: we had fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!
Love, Laura.

Heyaa everyone. How are you doing?
Life in Belgium is quite normal except all the problems on the road because of the snow, but if you stay inside everything stays the same: it’s colder and it’s getting very soon dark. Let’s say: typical winter days. And oh, I still have to tell you 4 things:
Support #ackma. It’s to raise anorexia awareness. Check the group on facebook! We want #ackma to get in the trending topics on twitter. So please tweet #ackma.
Nonsense Of The Truth is on twitter. So please follow us on twitter too! :’)
Oh you have to see these 2 lovely blogs: KILL ANNA and Young Happy Faces!
White Christmas? Yeah, we will probably have one! Isn’t that awesome? Lalalala ♫
So, I hope you’ll have a lot fun in the snow (at least if there is any snow in your country) ^^
xoxo. Manon
I don’t think I ever told you something about Fien, but she’s a good friend of me (Laura) & I actually met her when I was 8 years old, but we weren’t really friends then, because we only played one day together on the playground in my village :’). And almost 2 months ago, so 7 years later, we saw eachother back on a party, but we didn’t know we actually already knew eachother ^^. Anyway after adding eachother on facebook we found out that she lives like 40 metres from my house. So now I often see her & that’s awesome! Whenever I feel bored I just text her & in 5 minutes she’s already at my place. We took some pictures together last week, so here they are :).
Love, Laura.
Hi there! Yesterday evening Manon and me watched ‘bandslam’ and we absolutly loved that film. So here’s the lyrics from ’someone to fall back on’:
I’ll never be a knight in armor with a sward in hand or a kamikaze’ fighter. Don’t count on me to storm the barricades and take a stand or hold my ground. You’ll never see any scars or wounds. I don’t walk on coals, I won’t walk on water. I am no prince, I am no saint, I am not anyones wildest dream, but I will stand behind and be someone to fall back on.
Oh yeah, and of course we still got some pictures to show you guys! We took these a few days ago, check it out :)
Halló allir (that means hi everyone in Icelandic). Now you’ll probably wonder why we greet you in Icelandic, but it’s freezzzzzing now in Belgium! However we really needed some pictures (like we already told you a hundred times) so we decided to take some pictures outside. We only could stay there 20 minutes, because of the cold. We’re having a sleepover until this Friday, so tomorrow we’ll take more pictures :). See you guys tomorrow back! xoxo
Arrrr there folks! ^^ Muhaha, we are in holiday now, so we’re like soooo happy; finally 2 weeks of vacation + we don’t have to go to our stupid school! We actually really need it :). Today after our exam English which was quite easy, we stayed a little while in Brussels. We saw a lot of people from our school, but that’s pretty normal because our school is in the center of Brussels ^^. We certainly had lots of fun -like usual- and took some pictures, but don’t expect to much of it, because we were in a very strange mood today (we bought crowns so we’d look like princesses and so on.. :’))
Time is going really fast.
We already did our third exam yesterday and it seems like I never began to study.
And of course at this moment I want holiday so badly.
But seriously dude, time is going really fast! Maybe too fast.
I still can remember my great summer and now it’s almost winter and maybe this week it will even snow in Belgium. (but I really want to take some pictures in snow, so oh please LET IT SNOW! Let it snow! :))
And you know, when I take pictures I always put it in an album on my computer (very chronological) and I just can’t believe the pictures I took yesterday are already in “the December album “
Who expected 2010 so soon? In just 1 month it’s already there.. I can remember when it was 2000 & I said something like: wow, am I still going to live in 2010? It seems so far away.
Anyway, I really have to show you these photographers, they are so amazing:
http://bottlebellphotography.com/
http://www.stephanvanfleteren.com/ (a Belgian photographer)
And also this quote:
“Don’t give up on trying to do what you really want to do. Where there is love & inspiration, I don’t think you can go wrong” -Ella Fitzgerald
I have to remember that!
Now, I have to study maths :(
Have a nice week-end everyone!
xoxo Manon
Hi there everyone! Sorry for not blogging 3 days, but like you know we have exams. Today we had our exam French and hopefully we did it well. We still have 2 exams to go :) I really can’t wait for holiday to begin! We both really need a little break from school.. Because off the exams we haven’t got enough time to take new pictures, so in this post you can see an old picture of me (I took it like 6 months ago ^^)! Today Victoria went to my place so we could already start studying mathematics. Of course we didn’t really study a lot :’). Anyway, Monday we have our exam mathematics and we both really suck at it! So wish us luck :). Tonight Fien is coming over and we’ll have a little movie night. I really need it! Just a relaxing evening with a lot of movies.. But I have to go now, take care guys!
Love, Laura.
Omg. Tomorrow we have our first exam, Latin. And we’re both really not looking forward to it, because we are reading about Caesar and yeah, it’s quite difficult. Anywayz, we hope we’ll survive it! :) Sorry for this really short post, but we have to go back to our books, we still got a lot of work..
> CAESAR DBG II, 19.

Hi everyone,
our exams will start this Wednesday & no, we don’t like that fact.
BUT I think we will survive it because we know that after those exams there will come 2 amazing weeks (CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS!)
I already know lots of things I wanna do this holiday, so here is kind of a holiday to do list !
♥ taking LOTS of pictures, I have to make my ‘end assignment’ for photography. I’ll finally have the time to take many pictures, yeah :)
♥ playing the guitar again, now I’ve just no time because of school!
♥ shopppppping! when the sales begin I’m going to shop a lot, I’m pretty sure about that :)
♥ I want to make a film, I’m thinking about that already a long time
♥ making a website with laura for our photos
♥ my favorite radio station is doing every year a ‘Music For Life’-action in Christmas holiday, the concept is always the same: 3 radio presenters are presenting a whole week long 24/24 for charity and they are doing this in a house in glass. You can give money and request songs. This year the house will stand in Ghent and I think I’m going to visit Ghent and also take a look at the glass house
♥ finding a beautiful blazer
♥ blogging, A LOT !
♥ going to Christmas markets
♥ making little trips to cities in Belgium. Antwerp? Ghent? Hasselt? Bruges? Leuven? And of course Brussels! :)
I hope I can do a lot of things that are on my list :)
Have a nice weekend everyone!
xoxo Manon
Picture of Laura and me in Paris.
Heyaa,
yesterday evening I went to the Christmas market in Brussels.
And of course I loved it, it felt like it was already x-mas!
There was playing Christmas music, there were lights everywhere and everyone seemed happy.
And haha, I’ve written in EVERY sentence “Christmas” !
Anyway, I just love Brussels at night.
Btw, do you have a Christmas tree already?
See ya, Manon
Arrr there mates! (haha, I’m in this Captain-mood ^^) Today was actually a quiete fun day at school. Yeah, that’s really weird, because lately Manon and me are both really fed up with our school. But luckely it’s getting a little bit better, even though we’ll start with our exams in a week! I’m not looking forward to that, I don’t feel like studying much, but Manon and me will study a little bit together, so we can stimulate eachother! :) However, today I took some pictures, but they’re very ugly.. Anyway, here’s a picture from today, I wore that skirt from H&M (like you can see in this post) with a top and some accesories, nothing special actually ;).
Take care everyone, Laura.
Hi everyone! Yesterday evening the sky was so beautiful I think almost whole Belgium saw it ;). I decided to go outside and to take pictures and later when I was uploading them on my computer I heard from Manon she did exactly the same, that was so funny to hear! ^^
Love, Laura.
That’s true, I also went outside to take pictures.
I loved the sky so much, I just couldn’t stop looking at it!
Here a picture that I took :)
Hope you like it, xoxo Manon
HELLOOOOOOOO EVERYONE! Today I’m very happy, because I found so much old pictures :) It was really funny too see them again! Here are some :

First and thirth picture are from a scoutscamp in the summer of 2007 and the second was on skiholiday in 2008. The fourth picture was in september 2008, the fift was in november 2008 and the sixt picture was on easter 2007. The last one is already 7 years ago ^^. Btw this is our 100th post! We’ll have a sleepover this week and we’ll make a special article this holiday. Take care, Laura ♥
Most people walk in and out of your life, but only true friends leave footprints in your heart :)
Hi everyone, first of all, we’re sorry we didn’t make any posts during the week. We were very busy with school. But I’ll give you a little summary about last week. Saturday (21/11) we went to Brussels (surprise surprise.. ^^) to see New Moon, we cried like during the whole film, because it was so emotional! We really love the film because we’re true fans of the twilight saga :). Then Sunday we still had to finish our article about Paris for the school newspaper, so I couldn’t go to the scouts, I was too busy. Luckely we finished it right on time, because the deadline was actually already over ;). Monday, Thuesday and Wednesday were typical schooldays and it’s was quite boring.. Monday we also had our exam geography, but that wasn’t so hard (I think ;p). Then Thursday it was ‘the anniversary’ of our school (it already exists more than 400 years), so in the afternoon we did something with our class. Or actually the class did something, we couldn’t go with them, because we had detention! It was so unfair, because we didn’t even did something that’s was like really wrong.. >< so I’ll tell you what happened: in the morning we had a ceremony in the church, but Manon and me weren’t really in the mood to listen, so we started to write on our papers. On that way we could talk to eachother and we wouldn’t make any noise (everyone happy?) But a teacher was mad at us and he took our papers with him and then we had to go to the school principal (he read all our notes, haha but most of the time we were talking about our blog and about new posts :)) We were like for the first time in our life silent during the ceremony, but the principal didn’t agree with us and he was talking about ‘no respect’ and we had to stay at school in the afternoon just because we were writing instead of speaking.
Great -.- and you know what? We could choose between that afternoon or an afternoon after our exams (when we’ve already holiday actually!). We were like WTF ?!
But of course we didn’t want to go to school in holiday so we stayed that afternoon at school. We had to write 8 A4-papers as punish, while our class went to a pizzeria and a little cafe! We were like really upset, but we couldn’t do anything, of course, school’s always right? >< anywayz, we survived it, even though it wasn’t fair (we think) and luckely our parents also thought the school was wrong in this case! The next day, Friday I was sick, so I stayed at home. Luckely I was feeling much better in the evening because today I went to Antwerp with my mom (we didn’t go to Amsterdam like I said in my previous post.. we’ll go to Amsterdam in January!) We bought so much stuff and it was very fun :). I’m quiet tired now, because it was also very exhausting, but I don’t have much time left, so I’m going to finish this post. In 20 minutes I have to be ready. My friend will pick me up because this evening we have to perform for the audience. It’s our gymgala ;). Take care everyone!
Love, Laura.
I took this picture on Wednesday, because we had nothing to do for Thursday (‘the anniversary’ of our school ;p).
Last Saturday when I was in Brussels with Manon and Katrien we went to some shops and I saw soooo much clothes I really want to buy! But of course, I didn’t had much money with me, so yeah.. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! You know what?! Next week, on Saturday, I’m probably going to Amsterdam with my mom! A whole day of shopping, I’m so excited :). Then I’ll buy so much clothes! So that’s why I already started looking for some inspirations, check it out!
Love, Laura.
H&M
Only
Mango
Springfield

Yesterday we went to Brussels with a friend of us and of course we had to take a look in the H&M! We didn’t go to buy something but we just needed to see the crowd and the collection (even you can see it much better on the site). Our friend had the great idea to go on the staircase and then to take a picture! So now you can see everything better :). Anyway, we also ate pizza, talked and laughed a lot so it was a very nice day!

PLEASE, don’t mind our faces ><

Kisses & hugs! xoxo.
